he Inclusive Employment Grant (IEG) supports community organizations and social enterprises in creating inclusive employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to work.

Valued at $50,000 over two years, the grant aims to assist organizations that are earning revenue through trade, seeking to enhance their business model, and improve financial sustainability while advancing their social mission.

IEG focus areas: To support existing (not start-up) jobsfocused social enterprises and community organisations earning trading revenue that want to:

  • Strengthen their business model and build greater financial resilience and sustainability in delivering their social mission
  • Build skills and career pathways (for people in the IEG priority areas) in jobs-rich growth sectors such as tech, care and the green economy.

IEG priority groups:

  • First Nations Australians
  • Refugees and people seeking asylum
  • Women at risk
  • Young people at risk (over 15 years of age)
  • People who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • People who’ve experienced family or domestic violence
  • People living with disability (including carers)
  • People living with a mental health issue (including carers)
  • People who are long-term unemployed
  • People who have been incarcerated or had contact with the criminal justice system
  • People living in remote areas
